Its no secret that we are excited to get back to normalcy with our own apartment. You see, after we moved to Texas, we were going to stay with my parents for a few weeks - a month TOPS. Well. Life had its own plans and we have been here way longer than we imagined. But, we do have only 3 weeks left till we get the keys to our new place.
The apartment where where we are moving is, well, rental-y. Beige walls, beige carpet. We did find out that we can paint. So, we have been browsing the paint chips for something SUPER WHITE! Now, I know, some of you are rolling your eyes. But, every place we have lived, we haven't been able to paint and the walls have been a ugly white-pink, white-yellow, beige-yellow. We are ready for something that will make art, and decor really pop.So, to go along with that, we are planning on doing mostly black and white decor with the accent colors coming in later as we find things we love. We have found these places that are very much our style. Oh, we are so excited!

Oh, I like this decor idea! It really will make your artwork POP! And accessories and color spots are so much easier to change than wall color! (Or in my case jewel-tone teal counter tops and carpet that I picked out 20 years ago--thankfully the carpet is gone!)
